Please follow the instructions on the left for the phone types you wish to setup. Various ways of connecting to our VoIP service: Basically, all you need is a PC or laptop connected to a headset with a microphone or a compatible mobile phone, but there are several other options too. All options require a broadband internet connection like ADSL, cable, WiFi, WiMax, 3G or direct internet link via fibre or other ethernet connection to a high level provider. A. Download and install our branded softphone (Windows XP only) or use alternate softphones as mentioned below. B. Setup on your mobile smartphone phone - Nokia (S60 based models with SIP) or Windows Mobile phones, Apple iPhones and Blackberries can also be set up with SIP dialers, also known as softphones or SIP stacks. C. Setup on a VoIP ATA (analogue telephone adapter), VoIP Deskphone or link to your software PBX (like Asterisk or 3CX). Please refer to your supplier of the community for how to set up a VoIP provider on these alternate options. You could have more than one device running with the same account at the same time, i.e. your Softphone, VoIP Deskphone and Mobile Phone with SIP stack. Should someone send a direct SIP call to your SIP address, i.e. your_personal_sip_username@sip.vocalcall.co.uk they will all ring simultaneously. |
